Find a Town: |
The first person to establish a town on ZoomVillage is automatically named the town's Editor-in-Chief and Mayor and given the following special privileges:
The Editor-in-Chief receives at least 50% of the advertising fees for all ads placed on the town's site.
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for creating content for the newspaper and monitoring content submitted by other registered users.
The Editor-in-Chief may sell items in the ecommerce-enabled Community Store. And when other users sell their items through the store, the Editor-in-Chief can earn a share of those sales as well. Read here about the Community Store.
The Editor-in-Chief may give editor privileges to other trusted users. These editors have some, but not all, of the Editor-in-Chief's privileges.
The Editor-in-Chief may give blogging privileges to other users.
