Feeling beautiful makes you confident and ready to embrace the world. The beauty evolution of Her Secret Hair Salon has to be experienced to be believed. Helen Owens and her team are helping women change their lives with renewed looks and confidence.

Her Secret was founded by Helen Owens, the award-winning, nationally-recognized celebrity hairstylist and hair weaving/hair extension specialist who is also a hair loss survivor. She has officially signed with La Belle Agency. Owens has over 25 years experience in designing and creating couture hair weaving, extensions, and handmade wigs for theater and everyday wear. A warm hug from Owens, her compassionate smile and the welcoming ambience of the clinic gives moral support and an understanding listener that a patient needs foremost.

On Thursday, February 9, Livermore Chamber of Commerce organized a ribbon cutting ceremony for Her Secret Salon in Livermore. "We had a wonderful turnout and everybody truly enjoyed themselves," said Owens.

At the price range of $500 - $10,000 they are worth it as they last for 15 or more years. "People can swim, shampoo, make a high ponytail or braid it, part it. The hairline is breathable and lightweight to scalp," said Owens, who works with the medical community and goes through a private consultation providing personal care to each client. She has created a special hair piece for women suffering from 'trichotillomania' ( a disease where the patient has a compulsive urge to pull out one's own hair) that discourages them from pulling and helps in breaking the habit. Owens and her associate Christine Hanson have contributed to the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better program and received service awards in hair styling for their contributions in the Bay Area.
