Music on the Hill Chamber Series: Minnesota Roots

The Mankato Symphony Orchestra invites the public to join them at 2:00pm on January 10 for “Minnesota Roots” concert at the Chapel at Good Counsel.

Guest musicians Mary Jo Gothmann, Scott Lykins, and Lydia Miller Choorapuzha will be performing trios by Franck, PDQ Bach, Schoenfield, and Schubert.

The second concert of the season features two works for organ and two piano trios. Mary Jo Gothmann performs Franck’s poetic masterwork, his Chorale in A minor for organ. Music on the Hill regular Scott Lykins joins Gothmann in the contrasting comedic Toot Suite by PDQ Bach. FULL STORY
