Recharging at the Beachcomber Motel & Spa
By Cookie J. Arnett
May 21, 2014

I have been experiencing a lot of trials lately- and a lot of stress. Obstacles have been thrown in my path that have prevented me from writing and publishing the GCG as I would like. It has been a very tough time, but I don't give up so easily.

Monday night I had the opportunity to go to Fort Bragg and stay at a great ocean-front hotel. The Beachcomber Motel & Spa, located at 1111 North Main Street, has some great amenities.

One of the best features, in my opinion, is the view. I was able to see a lot from my private balcony. FULL STORY

DON'T BE A JERK
By Cookie J. Arnett
May 7, 2014

Putting shopping carts in handicapped parking spaces is just as inconsiderate and disrespectful as parking in one when you don't need to. These spaces are available for a reason and it's not so lazy, selfish idiots can fill them with shopping carts so handicapped people have nowhere to park. A... FULL STORY

A couple walked into Raley’s with their dog this afternoon. I asked one of the employees why the store lets people get away with this. Cookie's Community Review- Jackson's Glass
By Cookie J. Arnett
April 6, 2013

Yesterday after my “no estimate stop” for my windshield, I went to Jackson’s Glass on Myers Street. I walked in and said I needed an estimate on a repair, a chip and a crack in my windshield. The man working walked out and assessed the damage and gave me an estimate. Today I went back to Jackso... FULL STORY

Cookie's Community Review- Butte Glass Company

I need to have my windshield repaired, so I drove to Butte Glass today to get an estimate. I drove up to the store and saw an older man sitting about a foot from the large plate glass window. January 17, 2013

I feel the need to try to help young people before they make the mistake of experimenting with drugs. There are some of your friends that will tell you, “Just try it [I do it all the time]. It’s cool. It will not hurt you.” That’s where it first starts. Believe me, they have just lied to you. I... FULL STORY

I decided to try out the Bread Butter and Cheese Restaurant at 1836 Feather River Boulevard yesterday.
