Pike Wild River: Trout Fishing at its Best
Reported by Travel Wisconsin
The Pike River is one of only four state designated wild rivers. Uses mostly by canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts but also enjoyed by hunters, hikers, wildlife watchers, and berry pickers. On DNR land, there is walk-in access only, no motorized vehicles, no stream alterations, no maintained trails, few developed parking lots or canoe put-ins, and no camping.
